01. First Steps
BASE network is a Layer 2 solution built by Coinbase on Ethereum using the OP stack in collaboration with Optimism. The possibility of airdorp has never been confirmed but there is a good chance that actions on the network will be rewarded with an official token in the future.
Add Base to Metamask wallet
You can add Base network to your wallet using chainlist.org. Simply search for base and add network as you can see on screen below.
