### Swap

* Navigate to the [**OpenOcean.finance**](https://app.openocean.finance/) webpage.

* Connect your wallet.
* In the ‘Swap from’ field, select the currency and amount of tokens you wish to swap.
* Repeat the process in the ‘Swap to’ field.
* Click ‘Swap Now’ to confirm the swap.

### Limit Order

* OpenOcean allows you to set limit orders that will be executed at a specific price.

* Switch from the ‘Swap’ tab to the ‘Limit Order’ tab.
* Choose whether you want to buy or sell.
* Select your desired trading pair from the dropdown list.
* Set your limit price. Your order will be executed once this price is reached.
* Review your limit order and confirm it with your wallet.
* By default, your limit order will expire in one month. You can adjust this timeframe in the settings menu.

### Cross-Chain Swap

* Open the ‘Cross Chain’ tab.

* Select the chain from which you wish to transfer, and then select the token to swap.
* Enter the amount you wish to swap.
* Repeat the process in the ‘Receiving chain’ fields, excluding the quantity.
* Review the possible swap routes for your transaction. The default route should be the cheapest.
* Review your swap details and confirm the transaction.

### Perpetuals

* To trade perpetuals, click on the ‘Perp’ tab in the menu bar.

* The first step is to make a deposit. Hover over your wallet address in the top right corner and select ‘Deposit’.
* Enter the amount you wish to deposit and confirm the transaction.
* Once your deposit is successful, you can begin trading.

* Set your leverage.
* Select whether you want to buy or sell.
* Choose the quantity from your deposit that you wish to trade.
* Confirm your limit order.
* You can track your open orders and history in the bottom section.

### &#x20;**Buy Liquid Stacking Derivatives (LSD)**

* Click on the ‘Farm’ tab in the menu bar.
* OpenOcean enables the purchase of liquid stacking derivatives. Purchase some tokens to receive ETH staking rewards.

* Click on the ‘LSD’ tab in the menu bar.
* Select one of the Liquid Stacking tokens and click ‘Buy’.

* Choose the currency you wish to pay with.
* Confirm the transaction.

### Liquidity

From the ‘Earn’ dropdown menu, you can choose to:

* Add or remove liquidity from a pool.
* Stake your LP tokens to earn extra rewards.
* Participate in ETH liquid staking (this is the LSD described above).

### Add & Remove Liquidity

* Navigate to ‘Earn > Pool’ in the menu.
* Click the ‘Add Liquidity’ button.

* Select two tokens from the dropdown lists.

* Enter the amount of the first token you wish to supply. The second amount will be calculated automatically.

* Confirm the transaction by clicking ‘Supply’.

* Navigate back to ‘Earn > Pool’ in the menu bar to check your positions.

* Click ‘Remove’ to withdraw your tokens from the liquidity pool.

* Enter the amount of LP tokens you wish to withdraw.
* Click ‘Approve’ to confirm the transaction.

### Liquid Stacking Derivatives (LSD)

* Click on the ‘Earn > Farms & Vaults’ tab in the menu bar.

* Select a farm from the list and click ‘Detail’.
* Click ‘Deposit’.

* On the next screen, enter the amount of tokens you wish to deposit into the farm and confirm the transaction.
* During farming, you can collect your rewards by clicking the ‘Harvest’ button.
* To withdraw your tokens, select ‘Withdraw’. The same window as before will appear.
* Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and confirm the transaction.

### DAO

* Navigate to ‘Dao > Stacking & Governance’.

* You can lock your OOE tokens to vote on DAO proposals and receive gas refunds on OpenOcean.
* Check how many tokens you need to stake to receive bonuses in the tier list.
* Enter the amount you wish to lock and set the lock duration.
* The higher the lock duration, the higher the staking APY.
* Confirm the transaction at the bottom of the page.
* To withdraw funds after the lock period, click ‘Withdraw’ instead of ‘Lock’ and confirm after choosing the amount to withdraw.

Under the ‘Dao’ tab in the menu, you can also find:

* A forum to discuss proposals.
* A snapshot to vote on active proposals.
